Possible gum issue?
I'll obviously keep an eye on this, but I'd like your opinion. Any cause for concern here?
Thanks everyone for your time.

Re: Possible gum issue?
check theres not a tooth caught on the lip mate ?
is the mouth constantly open like in the picture ?
i've seen snakes with bruised jaws act like that, where they have struck the side of the tank, while taking prey
one my jags took a few weeks for his jaw to go back to normal,at first he couldn't eat properly,so he used to push his prey into his mouth, using the side of his tank,to do the job of his bottom left jaw
cheers shaun

Re: Possible gum issue?
I would also check for a stuck tooth. More than likely the snake will work this out on his own...but if you see any excessive drooling, bubbles, or it looks like it's not able to fix it on it's own, i'd try to help it and then maybe see a vet.

Re: Possible gum issue?
I'm away for the weekend, but the caretaker says it doesn't appear swollen, nor has she been with her mouth open since. I'll update tomorrow as I will be home tonight.
Thanks for asking!

if she's NOT done it since, then imo she was just needing to realign her jaw mate
cheers shaun

Re: Possible gum issue?
All is well. She looks perfectly normal now. Been very active too, although she's not quite due to eat yet.
