45F sounds pretty balmy right now. last night it was -20c (about -5f) up here.

Nice looking skink. It's realy something to go out and manage to get a nice shot with a camera.

Yeah that weather does sound really nice right now lisa lol, i love the blue on that skink..absolutely beautiful...where abouts was the picture taken? I see your from florida, ive never been lucky enough to see those in the wild!

5-lined skinks are native to Ontario as well, and are the only lizard species in the province, however I've never actually seen one while herping.

They're doing the smart thing and hibernating in some under ground burrow right now.

We're the fools freezing our butts off out there!!

5 lines are great, if anyone actually finds one in Ontario, post a pic....they are pretty hard to come by
