buying a Tank Divider?

I want to buy a tank divider at herpsupplies.com but i dont know if i should buy the large, xtra large, or super, its a 40 Gallon tank.. 3 feet by 1 foot 4. and 1 foot 4 tall.. so its 36" by 16" and 16" tall roughly. hellp??

forgot to mention herpsupplies measurements...
Available in:
Medium - 11-3/8" x 9-5/8"
Large - 11-3/8" x 11-3/8"
Extra-Large - 11-3/8" x 15-1/2"
Super - 11-3/8" x 17-1/2"

im lost on the measurements..

Re: buying a Tank Divider?

If you want to divide a box that is 16" wide x 16"tall inside measurements you would need a divider that was the same size.. so if your tank is a true 16x16 then none of those dividers will work for your tank.

Re: buying a Tank Divider?

I would just buy a piece of plexi glass and either have it cut to size where you purchase it or cut it to size yourself. Then use Aquarium sealant to hold it in place.

I agree. This is the best and easiest way.

Re: buying a Tank Divider?

You can take it off, simply use a razor blade and scrape it off.
