Thanks mate, Im very new to carpets and it was advertised as that at my local reptile shop, tho I didnt ask to many questions (my bad) as i dont no her age! lol  Going to find out tomorrow when i ring up!

If shes not a jungle, then what is she? As there where x2 in the reptile shop one was this and the other was the irian jaya.

She looks part coastal and part jungle to me. All jags have a little bit of coastal in them. It looks like this snake came from a clutch which was bred for jags. The snakes that don't visually show the jag gene (like this snake here) are basically jungleXcoastal carpets (aka jag siblings).
If that didn't make sense I'm happy to try and explain it again lol

sorry for your loss mate
i would go back to the shop and see if they are willing to refund your cash,or give you another carpet python
carpets are generally a hardy species,so should not have died,within a week in your care
