A few sightings in my own back yard

First a Painted Turtle, spotted in my yard a week or so ago



And today, saved this little Spotted Turtle from becoming road kill=)

Never see turtles here except for the occasional snapper. I know we are supposed to have more species than that, I just have a hard time finding ANY reptiles at ALL the last few years...pollution?
