Elapidae vs. Crotalinae

Which family of snakes would you say are superior?

Perhaps I'm opening up a can of worms here but I'm trying to determine which family of snake (if any) is furthest down the evolutionary process and therefore a superior form of snake?

From everything I have read:

Elapids seem to be some of the fastest movers and most agile, they also appear to be very intelligent snakes.

Whereas Crotalinae have several things going for them: they may not be as quick on the move, but they have thermoreceptive pits which elapids don't have, they also have retractable fangs and some of the most beautiful camouflage variations I have ever seen.

Which family of snakes do YOU prefer, and which (if any) do you think are truly superior creatures??

If I had to choose it would have to be elapids because it seems to me their venom has been more highly evolved to their surroundings and available prey. And also who doesn't like cobras and coral snakes
