Unhappy Horrible shed don't know what to do!!!!

My retic is having a really really bad shed. It was my fault I thought the humidity was high enough but it wasn't. So she came out of blue about a week ago and still hasn't shed. Her skin looks dry and rough(the dead layer of skin). I have been keeping her humidity at about 90% for the past 4 days and have been soaking her everyday but still no luck. I really need help!! Please help me get her to shed thanks!

Re: Horrible shed don't know what to do!!!!

Take pics that hopefully do it justice

My one BP had a terrible shed. After the 2nd day where it looked painful, I took a warm cloth and soaked him in parts. Just kept an eye on his breathing , making sure I wasn't stressing him too much. After about 10 minutes, encouraged him to move between my hands tightening slightly around the cloth and it came off plus it gave me such an appreciate for him

Re: Horrible shed don't know what to do!!!!

Thank you! But literally two minutes after I posted this I began to notice lose skin hanging off of her. So I helped her get most of the dead shed off but I put her back for the night, sprayed her and her enclosure really well and hope she can finish it off. If not I will tomorrow! Thank for your help

Just relax with it all. Sometimes we over think it and stress about it

Jus make sure you check for anything still stuck. I've had a missed spot or two, and you definitely don't want that

If she still has bits of stuck shed, try giving her a soak with a splash of olive oil in the water.
