Osage county Oklahoma rat snake

I found this guy walking a trail. He wasn't happy at all to captured. When I let him go, he climbed a small tree and went all Black Mamba on me.

Cool! It looks about the size of a rat snake my sisters found in the yard, they flipped out, brought me outside saying it was a 'python'.. I'm getting off topic, oops.

I would be upset if I was captured like that as well. I never pin snakes' heads, especially small rat snakes. That just stresses them out. Take the bite, pick them up, and they will calm down. The bites don't hurt anyway.
