Re: My Little Hognose
My guy hides majority of the time. He was born in may. When he hides and I dig him out, he's quiet. Try to grab him when he's out, forget it haha
Great snakes

Mine is actually fine when she is out and about, but gets pissy if you try to take her out of the hide when she is asleep. I guess it's understandable lol. Yes they are great little snakes.

Re: My Little Hognose
It's so cute. It almost looks like a toy snake in the last picture.

They make great first snakes! Husbandry is simple, and they are funny and entertaining little things

Re: My Little Hognose
I have one that is just nuts... She is about 3 years old and will hiss and strike at the cage like crazy when you come near it, but then as soon as you take her out she completely stops. Ive had friends over that got close to the cage and then when she stuck at the cage they both jumped back almost across the room... Very entertaining...

My hog used to act the same way! I once had a cousin tell me that it was "incredibly stupid to keep a cobra in the living room"
