ID a spider I saw a few months ago

Posting on other spider sites has been inconclusive. I figured I might as well as you guys. This is a spider I saw in Hoi An, Vietnam. I have figured out that it's an argiope or something similar, but I'd be interested in a better ID. Some of you spider fanatics should love this one.

are those thick lines thick spots in the web? looks like words! It's clearly a charlotes web spider *nod nod*

Or at least something that would creep me out and make me stay away from. LOL Some sort of orb spider...
one of the creepy shiney ones i don't touch *lol*

Yes, it's a zig zag pattern that's like a signature move of the angriope as I've learned... someone has pointed out that it's most likely a female angriope aurantia.
