Question Best time to find Five-Lined Skinks?

I know I asked this question in the fall - but now it's spring and I was wondering what time do the Five-Lined Skinks come out? Is spring, summer or fall the best time to look for them? (I'm in Ontario, Canada)

Also where should I look? There is a lot of woodland near me but what do they like? Moist areas, dry, leaves, stumps...? Morning, afternoon or evening?

Thanks!

This HAS to be the year I find them. It HAS to be. I can't be the only person around here that hasn't even SEEN one! lol...
