I have a 50% sonoran 50% BCI het leopard, I wonder if he will look anything like your guy, who is gorgeous by the way, when he is older...I think I would miss the red tail!

I believe that the very dark tail comes from Jarvis being 66% anery. Apparently all the Sonorans that came from a certain breeding to produce these have tails that get darker and darker with each subsequent shed. I have a real thing for dark boas myself I would love to add some Leopards to the collection at some point....

Thank you. I'm taking part in a photography Project52 at the moment and my theme is 'locality boas with flowers' so I'm always looking for a different take on that really

Now this is one amazing sonoran boa! I'm very jealous of your group over there, like me you seem to prefer the localities over the morphs, and the dark ones no less. Any Longicauda over there? You wanna talk favourites....

Indeed I'm not a huge fan of morphs although there are one or two locality based morphs that I quite like the look of... Longicauda are few and far between here, they are something I am hoping to add to the collection maybe next year....

Re: Male Sonoran Boa, "Jarvis"

I like a couple of the locality morps as well, mainly the anery II central american, and the Het leopard sonoran. I told myself my first boa is gonna be a BCL, and until i find one with parents I like enough, I might be boa-less for quite a while. If only Rio Bravo were Canadian... or UK so you could take pictures of them
