may have found a home for one of my rescue Corns!!
I have a lady coming out to see Pirwa, my HUGE male Amel corn, who was dropped off to me as a rescue last year.
She has proven her knowlege of proper corn care, has a good set-up ready and waiting.
So I invited her out this weekend to come see Pirwa and meet me, and if I get good vibes (my gut is rarely wrong), then Pirwa has his forever home!!

Re: may have found a home for one of my rescue Corns!!
He is beautiful and even tempered and everything you would want in a snake like him. I would have loved to keep him, but I don't need 2 male Amels (actually don't even need one after this breeding season if all goes well) and even though my other Amel is the biggest *** you'll ever have the pleasure of being bitten by, I know his lines, his hets and his PH's. So I had to keep Helios and put Pirwa up for adoption.
Besides, I am pretty sure I'll have Pirwa babies this summer. His female is starting to look gravid.

Helios doesn't have a "little" attitude, he is the defintion of it!!
He will strike and bite when I commit the heinous offense of changing his water dish or spot cleaning his tub!!

I did!! All my other corns range from indifferent to quite sociable, but not Helios, he just has a bee up his butt, I swear!!
Yet he's nice as pie when in with a female

Fingers crossed. Today seems to be a lucky day for rescued snakes.
