I am looking at getting myself a pair of deserts - can anyone who has owned them, share their opinions, experiences, especially breeding - and of course pics.

They should be the same as caring for a Cali King. The biggest differences being size, temperment, and facial patterns. So anything you would do for a Cali is cool for a Desert.
I think Cali kings look better and have more interesting colors. I like their pissy attitudes. However I have a desert and I do enjoy how sweet he has been. He is still young. I'm picking up a rescue desert this weekend so I'll be back with pictures.
