Re: It's time for first feeding.
Dawwww! Is he super tame? I had a Lori and he was the tamest bird ever. I wanted to get a cockatiel, but you never know with them. Some turn out cuddle bugs but a lot end up too skittish... And Loris are too expensive
How does he do with your snakies?

I will never introduce Ecco to my snakes. Not worth the risk.
As for being tame...he's OK. You can take him out, but it's on his terms Once he's out, he's great. You just have to be really gentle

Re: It's time for first feeding.
Would Ecco hurt the snake or would the snake eat Ecco? Haha
You could have done anything with my Lori and he loved it all. I even slept with him sometimes. He would just curl up under my neck and stay there all night. He would always climb under my shirt and stick his head out at the collar and I could go shopping with him there. And he hated my backpack because he associated it with me leaving to school lol. So he would either attack it when I was getting my stuff ready, or hide in it when I wasn't looking. Smart little bird... I miss him tons
If you ever consider getting another bird, I'd recommend lories/lorikeets.

Both. Either way, the risk isn't worth it for either animal

This sounds just like our first bird we had, Kiwi. Kiwi was a cobalt blue love bird. He was the sweetest of all things. He would let anyone play with him, never bit any one, and he would live on everyone's shoulders all day hanging out. Whenever we had to go on a trip, we'd board him with the local aviary and they loved him. He was always everyone's favorite. Unfortunately, Kiwi passed away January 2011 and to this day, everyone always talks about him. Now we have Ecco. He's not Kiwi, but that's okay with us... we love Ecco just the way he is

Re: It's time for first feeding.
Lori passed away on Thanksgiving a few years ago. I still don't like Thanksgiving because of it. He moved with us all the way from the Czech Republic because I told my mom I'm not leaving without him.
Animals... If I could have a zoo all to myself I would. I wish Penelope would actually like me rather than just liking my warmth haha. If I don't get the CRB from Craigslist, I'm for sure gonna get a python or a boa eventually. I feel like they are more likely to be lap snakes haha. Plus they are so gorgeous and majestic!
I want a snake that I can just take out of its cage and let it hang out without having to worry about it escaping. Is that possible with pythons and boas?
