New homes for Radiated Rats and Tai Beautys

Moved my pair of 2010 Radiated Rats and female 2010 Tai Beauty and 2011 male Tai - Got the male rad and female Tai in Penine vivs and female rad in a vision viv (no pics of this) and the 2011 male Tai in 1/3 of a 3 in 1 4 1/2 foot viv. The Radiated Rats so far have not been observed using any of the height/climbing, like they did in their old smaller vivs - the Tai's, especially the male are using the height a lot more. So far the humidity is good in the Penines despite using hemp bedding - will monitor this and possibly use eco earth/bark/moss mix if it struggles - they have humid hides and water bowls over heat mats currently.

Those are some nice setups. I bet those snakes love those tanks.

Re: New homes for Radiated Rats and Tai Beautys

Thanks - the radiated rats now can scare the bejaysusout of me by appearing out of nowhere at the speed of light when it's feeding time.

It makes me so sad to see vivs/rubs with just one/two hides and a water bowl. If we went to the zoo and saw enclosures like that we would all be in uproar.
