Here is Perry (Peridot) my cute baby hognose. When i first got him he wouldn't eat! After many tries, and different methods...he finally took his first pinky for me. After that...he realized i provided food...and since then has become more and more excited for his meals.
He had a shed, and has grown. He's kind of almost too big for pinkies, but I have only had a few left, so decided to just give him two each meal for a couple of meals. In so doing, i've been able to see how really excited he gets! You can see in the video he has a lot of interest...but at about 1:46 on the video he sees the second pinky and hisses and strikes. Then just casually eats *lol* But he swallows the second one even faster than the first!
He does this each time, and it's sooo cute!
Another cuteness, is you can see my Basset hound lying on the floor and watching. : ) Enjoy! I sure do!
marvel, he is sweet! Even when he bit me that one time...lol
I just crack up over the overdramatic hiss. I must admit, i've been feeding him two pinkies not only to get rid of them, but because i love giving him that second meal to hear the hiss *lol*
