This sand boa is a crazy drinker! Every time i put fresh water in there...and if she is NEAR the water, she will auto-drink. It's so weird! I can set her near the water, or in the water, and she will just drink and drink. Googlie doesn't care at all and I haven't seen him drink. (He's at the last there, peeking out of the sani chips.)
Warren Treacher recommended getting 1/20 sandblasting sand to house them in. I haven't had a chance to try that yet.
i got a video of her, that i will try to post as well. You can see the movement in the water to show she's drinking, but other than that it's pretty blurry.
I love it when snakes drink water
