adding powerstrip to a herpstat 4?

Hey guys , i have a herpstat 4 which has 4 grounded outlets on the back with 1 probe per outlet, each outlet has a 400watt max, i was wondering if anyone has plugged a powerstrip into one of the outlets before so you can plug multiple strips of flexwatt into it and have one probe control it. is this ok to do with the herpstat 4 ? or with any herpstat for that matter?.... i only want to use 1 probe per rack but i don't want the whole rack running off 1 plug.

Yes just don't go over the 400w for each plug.
