Anyone in the room live in New Mexico?

Marcy & I are really thinkin' hard about moving to New Mexico, and I'm terrified I won't find a place to fish! I see there are quite a few State Parks with lakes... anyone live out there that gets to fish often?

I found this website about fishing in NM... might be worth it to check it out and see what you can learn. From what I read, the San Juan River is the place to go. NMDGF

Great minds think alike I guess. Very same link I found. When I saw the State Parks I though "Self, you could live near one of those parks, and fish any time you'd like!" After I agreed, (those disagreements get weird), I thought "I bet someone in my sSNAKESs family has inside knowledge on this!" Then, as fate would have it, we found the same link... Is this where I should propose? Hahahahaha

My fiancee's family lives out in Santa Fe. Its beautiful and there is fishing and hunting up in the mountains. I have to admit though that I dont know much about the legalities of all the different rivers and lakes though. Its really beautiful country though!

I agree, beautiful country. But only if I can fish!
