ALMOST bought another snake today!!
LOL!! and she was beautiful too!! But luckily, common sense kicked in when I realized that I only have one spot left in my rack system and what I NEED for my current project is a Hypo-Lavendar Stripe male!!
The store didn't know what morph they were of course, there were mostly amels with this one mixed in that LOOKed to my semi-experienced eye like a Peach. Those are rare around here.
BUT...... then I'd have to build another rack AND another project for peaches IF she were indeed a peach. I would have to breed her first year with an amel to make sure she's not just a really exotic colored amel, THEN, MAYBE...... I could get a peach line going.
Too many if's, so I passed it up for now. Rather keep looking for my Hypo-Lav Stripe male.
