Public Relations Consultant
Ok, might as well start throwing some ideas around, and you guys seem to be a better sounding board than some of the other forums I'm on. I'm looking at getting into PR once I graduate in May. Ultimately what I would like to do is either get in with a firm or start my own business (I would almost rather start with that) but I'm not entirely sure where to start.
I'm sure some of you have noticed that I try and be as politically correct in my statements as possible (I know I slip up at times). I'm also trying to wrap up a politically correct, non-inflammatory paper explaining exactly what's wrong with the python ban as it is currently written and what's wrong with the science behind it.
Any tips from anybody is appreciated. If you know a company that would be interested in giving me a shot as a PR consultant I'm willing to work cheap for a few reasons. 1: I'm still in college. 2: I've got limited experience. 3: unless they're within a few hours I would have to advise either over the phone, via email, or with a video tele-conferencing service such as skype unless they wanted to pay for me to travel.
All right, give me your best shot.
edit: I've got some background in graphic design and can do that as well. I'm finishing up a watermark for Alessia right now.
