Hooray for eats!!
I talked to the breeder about our little girl checkered King who hasn't eaten yet and he told me to get the smallest LIVE mouse pinkies I can find and offer her one and leave her alone with it. Presto and gone!! Her lump isn't very big and I am considering offering another in a few hours but I don't want her to possibly regurge. What do you all think? Reason I ask is the other live pinky I have probably wont last the night. I could feed it to someone else but two would be awesome for the girl king.

Re: Hooray for eats!!
I say try it, if they are small she'll likely take 2 no problem, even though she hasn't eaten in a while. Its not the same but we did this with a rosy boa that escaped before she had her first meal and was gone for a few months. Some how survived and did really well. She had 2 mouse pinks her first meal... I imagine a king snake can do the same. Caylan.S.

Re: Hooray for eats!!
I think I'd give it a try. Just remember to give her time to digest. It's been in my experience kings regurge fairly easy, especially with a large meal.
