Introducing Wiley
I was going to wait a bit to introduce Wiley (Wy-lee), but he's just so darn cute and fun that I decided to just do it.
This 2-year-old male Antaresia maculosa just came to me yesterday and was looking a little dry so I decided to put him in a small tub and get a bit of humidity going for him. About 2 hours later I was surprised with a brand new paint job, which is funny because the previous owner told me he shed 2 days ago.
He'll change quite a bit over the next few weeks now that he's under proper conditions, so I'll post updates now and then so we can watch his skin get more and more polished as he beefs-up a bit. Although he's a bit nervous from being handled quite roughly in the past, he's really quite chill and curious, so with a bit of time and some gentle handling he should be a real treat

Yes, a Spotted Python that'll turn 3 this summer. Adults get about 4 feet, but since it's a male I would expect 3 1/2 or so, perhaps 4 feet in a few years.
