Schatzi's 20 Tall: One Step Closer to Breeding

I found another tank to put Schatzi in; a 20 Tall. It fits better than the tank she was in before. This way the other tank will be set up in the quarantine area ready for the male Corns arrival. One step closer.. yup yup

Beautiful corn IMO those hides look way too big for a corn that size. Good luck with breeding!!! Keep us posted

I keep seeing hides facing the front of the viv/tank. The entire point of a hide is to allow the snake to HIDE and not be seen. If you place smaller hides in there and make them face away from view the set up will be much better. I am also a big one for covering the back and sides of the tank to allow the snake to relax more.

Youre right about the back side. I will cover it up ASAP

Thank you Alessia.

About the hides, the shorter tank makes those hides look bigger. When she is in either hide, she takes up almost all the space in it. She would not fit in a smaller one. Shes a full size corn over 4' long.

That water bowl is gonna get tipped btw I'd say get rid of one hide and put the water bowl in the corner farthest away from the hide and I am assuming you have a heat pad under the hide?

The heat pad is under the left hide. 2 hides give her the choice to thermoregulate. Also, the water dish is ceramic and very bottom heavy. Thank you all for the tips. I definitely appreciate any ideas for improvement.

Ok the background paper is put up. Thank you for that suggestion. I think it works well on that tank.
