So thanks to craigslist we picked up 2 new additions today a male thats about 6' and a female about 5'.
When we picked them up the owner mentioned that they had "attempted" to mate for a good 2-3 weeks but he didnt think it would take since she is too small. They both are in great condition nice and healthy looking and she does apear to be fatter than the norm. But since he said her last shed was about 3 weeks ago I doubt she should be showing just yet and will put it down to her being well fed even though he said that they hadnt eaten in 2 weeks and are due.
As I think back to our other momma there is only 1 shed after the mating I am correct in this, right?
Aside from an expensive ultrasound is there a way of knowing if she is or isnt expecting?
