Hello all! New here but some of you probably know me!

Hello all.... I was bored and figured I'd finally stop over and introduce myself here on this forum! My name's Shannon Hammer (formerly Culp) for those of you who don't know me... I like to specialize in the oddball stuff! I've kept many, MANY types of snakes, and I love them all... I would have to say, at least currently my favorite species is elaphe carinata... the king rat snake of which I have 5... 3 adult males, 1 adult female and one subadult female. Hoping for a clutch this year! I'm eventually looking to get into drymarchon heavily, starting with eastern indigos and YT cribos.

I used to have an extremely extensive collection of thamnophis, but I have largely moved out of them for many reasons, the main two being I wanted more time for my blossoming sculpting business as well as my now 1 month old daughter, she takes up a lot of time and so feeding 80 or so thamnophis every 3-4 days was just not practical. I have also worked with many of types of odd water loving snakes including nerodia, xenochrophis, some rhabdophis and liophis. I also love inverts, particularly giant centipedes!

Now I'm keeping a variety of things... including 7 carpet pythons, 1 chondro, 7 coachwhips, 5 king rats and some other asians including blue beauties and cave dwellers.... there is more, if you'd like to see pictures and my complete collection, rather than me writing a novel you can check out my iHerp here:

iHerp : Online Reptile Software, Husbandry, Community, Tracking, Breeding, Snakes, and More!

one thing I haven't added to that yet is my group of ornate flying snakes... (very fun snakes to work with but not for beginners or people who hate being bitten) and a few things I have not uploaded photos for just yet!

Also I'd like to mention that I'm a polymer clay artist and I've dedicated my work to creating realistic reptile art that can be worn as jewelry, a decorative shelf piece.. etc etc. The key to my work is that I use only colored clays to make them, I do not paint them! I hand mix most colors myself and I'm very diligent in paying attention to fine details. I vend at the Hamburg reptile show and as far as my sculpting goes I go by the name Cold-Blooded Creation. If you'd like to check out my artwork, please feel free either on Etsy:
Polymer Clay Creatures by ColdBloodedCreation on Etsy

or hit me up on facebook by searching for Cold-Blooded Creation! The facebook does have more photos than the etsy because some of my best work sold too quickly to ever make it to etsy and I've done many customs as well.

Anyways... I'm going to go feed my little one now and play some skyrim! Cheers to you all!
