Re: White lip choo choo log
so cute! Every time I see frogs I want them more and more which is weird because I never wanted frogs before. Are they handleable?

Yes the are and my wife and I call to them all the time in other rooms and they will start croaking. When one starts its like a chain reaction and they all start making noise.

Re: White lip choo choo log
I think when my GTP grows out of her 24x24x36 I want to put some kind of frog in there. How big is their enclosure and is husbandry hard to maintain?

Re: White lip choo choo log
lady_bug87, We have ours in a 30 gal atm and when I am done with the viv I have been making the dumpies will go in there. They each eat about 3-6 large crickets every other day and even more if you let them. We dust one or two crickets once a week with a mix of calc and mineral powder and hand feed those to them. We spray the poop off of leaves and branches with a spray bottle and do water changes every couple weeks. once the dumpies are out we wont have to do cleaning as often. We have mini earth worms and spring tails in the substrat along with live moss to help break down the waist.

Re: White lip choo choo log
is it more floor space or vertical space that they need because my GTP is obviously an arboreal enclosure

Re: White lip choo choo log
when they get going they are pretty loud and the combo between white lips and dumpies is quite the orchestra. Its not very often and only last for a minute or two. They start up when we get them going or music is playing.
