Shed and breeding
Hi!
I'm gonna ask my question in french first, because I'm not realy sure how to ask it in english (again, I'm very sorry for my very poor english)
Now in english...... sorry!
We add the female to the male last night. The male is in "sheding time" (?!). could it be for this reason that he is not interest to the female? Do you think after the shed he will could be more interest? BTW, the male did the hibernation, but not the female.
ouffffffff it wasn't easy to wrote this! lolllll
Thank you very much

:]

Zoe basicly said that Francois' english was understandable, and the snake might not be interested due to the shed, or sometimes they just don't get it the first time around, and that he should give it another try. And she also reccomended putting the male into the female's cage. (I hope i didn't forget anything)

Merci beaucoup

For all of you who are wondering what I said, IJs don't really need much cooling to get them to breed. A lot of breeders don't even bother because they will breed so easily without being cooled. They don't even need much lower temps if they are being cooled, and if the room is a little colder because of the outdoor temps, it is probably enough. And I mentionned that spraying the tank in the evening with warm water can help get them in the mood :]

Thanks a lot to all of you
I take some (most) informations in "The Reproductive Husbandry of Pythons and Boas" (the famous "blue book"). But as Zoe said, all the reptiles world is a conflicting world!! Well, we will try to breed them. As we say here, "seul le temps nous dira ce qui se passera!!"
It's my first breeding exprerience. I had bred Phelsuma laticauda in the past.
A big thx to all of you, especially ZoeStevens I appreciated your efforts to understand my English!!
Bye!
Francois
p.s. Dom, your French is great
