Garter Snake Laws in Alberta

I am currently trying to get a snake and I would like to get a garter snake. I know some Garter Snakes are illigel in Alberta and I cannot find a site that says what Garter Snakes are not allowed. If you can find it can you please put up a list of Garter Snakes that you are not allowed to keep in Alberta. Please don't use the latin names because that doesn't help me at all. Also if anyone knows any breeders in Alberta or even Canada that ships to Alberta can you please put it in this thread or just PM me with the name and/or the site.

Check with a reputable pet store. They will tell you if it is available or not. in most cases if they can sell them you can buy them. Here is BC pet stores ,at least the ones I deal with will not sell animals illegal for trade.
