Hello from Atlantic Canada!
Hi!
I hope to learn more about my babies here and meet some great people while at it.
I'm from New Brunswick and finding fellow reptile fans can be hard around here at times, maybe here I'll have more luck. But no matter where your from, I look forward to meeting you all and sharing in our shared love of Herps.
Blessed Be.
-Dranix/Melody

Re: Hello from Atlantic Canada!
Hi! Thanks for all the nice warm welcomes! I would love to post up pictures of my lizards. My Tropical spiney-tailed lizards I just got at christmas so I don't have too many of them yet, they are so skittish it's hard to get a good photo of them.
Here's my Beardie, Yoshi.
My Sudan Plated Lizard, Mion.
(actually still unsure if he's a sudan or another kind of plated, it's been hard to find out for sure. also not sure if he's a male.)
And my two new little Tropical Spiney-Tailed lizards
(they were sold as Armadillo lizards, but I knew they weren't the kind I was looking for after I got them and am pretty sure I've figured out what species they actually are now)
I am currently trying to find Actual Girdled Armadillo lizards (Cordylus cataphractus) but am finding it suuuper hard to locate a place near me that has them, or an online store in canada or a place online that will ship to canada.
Also trying to start a Lobster Roach colony and having trouble finding someone who will ship to canada as well.

Re: Hello from Atlantic Canada!
most won't ship to Canada, you have to find a company that specialises in live cross border shipping and they would arrange it for you.
or if you live near the border as I do, you can find companies that will recieve your lizzards state-side and you cross to get them yourself. You will have to have made an appt with the fish and wildlife authorities for a check of your shipment before you can bring them back into Canada. It is a cheaper endeavor if you claim them as pets rather than breeders, but if you bring in too many at a time, they may charge you as a breeder no matter what you say.

Unfortunately roaches are illegal in Canada... not to say that you can't find them, you just have to look extra hard.
