Thiamine suppliment ?
Ball Python (Python regius) feeding video reptilestv - YouTube
In this video the guy says that freezing rats/mice destroys thiamine and vitamin suppliments are required.
What are these and how are they administered ?

Probably injected into the prey item. But I think this might be dated information. I remember 20 years ago reading some stuff about this but since I've been reading the past few months I haven't seen anyone talk about needing to supplement snakes with anything. Someone will probably be along shortly to tell me I'm wrong though. ;^)

The only problem I ever heard of is feeding fish eating snakes goldfish, comets & Rosie reds.
those fish contain a thiamin blocking enzyme.
NEVER heard anything about frozen rodents causing health problems.

I just did a quick 5 minute Google session and don't find anything to back his claim up. In fact one thing I read said because thiamine is subject to oxidation it's retained better by freezing. Not sure but I don't feel the need to supplement mine. As long as the feeders were fed a good diet I think it's fine.

One of my hobbies/perversities (depends who you ask) is digging to the truth of claims/scams/etc. on the internet. It started with debunking e-mails (usually with a snopes.com link) then Facebook posts and now apparently snake related Youtube videos. LOL. I enjoy finding out the truth and stopping potential disinformation. Unfortunately sometimes it makes me play Devil's Advocate and I've actually had some people get really PO'd at me over it. Oh well.

Computer forensics.. I like that.
I ferret out fibbers on forums that way quick.
