"among them nine species of poisonous snakes including South American pitvipers, packed in clear plastic containers."
Are they out of their minds??

Wow what a fool. Any smart man would have made them carry on and covered the sides, tops, and bottoms with foil to evade the xrays!!

Wrap the animals in condoms and swallow them like drug smugglers do.

They use condoms for several reasons.
1. lubed - easy to swallow.
2. stronger than balloons - less likely to break and cause an in flight O.D.
3. easier to pass than a balloon at the "exit"
4. resistant to attack from body fluids.
Now where to get one to fit a boa or retic, that poses a real condom conundrum.

Re: Man tried to take 247 animals on plane
I'm just wondering...but how on earth did he fit 247 animals in a suitcase? All the ones I've ever seen would only fit that many if they were insects...I could be wrong but it seems very unlikely.
