Snake handler identity question

I used to watch a television series about a skinny, red haired man who caught snakes in order to obtain venom for anti venom. It was on a national geo, discovery channel or animal planet about 6 or 7 years ago. I do remember that he captured a deadly snake and as he was tying the collection bag, he was bitten through the bag. I want to know more about him but need his name. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

i love Austin Stevens, his passion and excitement never cease to amaze me and he's game

i once so him wrangle with a huge scrub python, while high up in the tree canopy

another time it was a huge retic, that had not long shed.it was a grumpy big thing, but lucky for him it had not long ate and was slow when striking

this huge retic kept charging at him, throwing big slow strikes, with one of the largest head and mouth,i've ever seen on a snake

i saw him get his finger caught on a fang and a vien in it burst open,by a willey/shrude old cobra he was playing around with.he was not envenomated,it was more of a slash caused by the tip of the fang, than a bite

i saw another guy in the states take a dry bite from a hot, that bit right through its own lower lip,to get to the handler

i do vaguely recolllect a guy being bitten through the bag,as he tied a knot in it,but i can't even remember what he looked like,in my defence i'm getting old

cheers shaun
