Gorgeous! I've never seen one that color! Will he outgrow it or is that the permanent color??

Re: One of my favorite ATBs...

ATBs are usually mostly done with their color change at about the age of 2, and this one is about 14 months old. Very few stay this dark into adulthood though, so it wouldn't surprise me much if she turned more brownish over the next year.

Colors may fade or get more vivid, pattens can fade out and even change some with every shed. That is what is so awesome about ATBs, you never know what you may end up with. Or it could stay the same it's entire life. Although this is an awesome looking Garden phase.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I got this one when it was a few weeks old, and as a baby it had intense orange highlights.

The orange has faded a little with each shed leaving the current cream color. It's a little over a year old now, so I don't expect its color to change drastically, but I wouldn't be surprised if it lightened or turned slightly brownish as it ages.

And Millertime89 - I live in Lincoln too. Small world.

Re: One of my favorite ATBs...

No joke? Can I come check this little guy out sometime? I would love to see an ATB for myself.

Re: One of my favorite ATBs...

Sure, I have 12 of them for you to see. I just haven't had a chance to post pictures of all of them.
