ok things are back to normal

Ok so the other day my boa did this horrific hissing at me and when i got off today i handled him with no problems not one hiss out of him. I think it was cuz he was in that tube i bought at the pet store. He was inside of it and i slid him out to handle him qherewhere as when he is under the half cut log all i have to do is pick the log up. But i am super excited to know that its not something that he would be doing everytime i go to handle him. It feels great to have things back to normal

Re: ok things are back to normal

The only time any of my boas have ever hissed was during a feeding accident. U was hold a mouse by the tail when my wife said something to me and I looked over at her. When I looked over I dropped my hand a few inches. That was when he decides to attack the mouse
The problem is my hand is now where the mouse was. He attached to the web of my thumb long enough for me to jerk my hand away......with Scamper briefly attached. He let go mid flight. Needless to say he wasn't happy with me. He almost got me 3 more times as I tried to pick him up.I sued my sons hockey stick as a hook then I couldn't get him off so I put the whole stick in his tank.
