My new Cali King snake!

Hey, some of you may know about me through Alessia55's posts. Today I got a beautiful reverse stripe cali king. He's a few months old and almost a foot long. He's gonna be a big boy! I am super excited, he has been exploring his new home. I have been leaving him alone but it is awesome to be able to watch him roam about.

Re: My new Cali King snake!

The expo was a lot of fun today Analog is wonderful and I think you're going to be very happy with him. Also, it's kind of weird that we're both sitting on the couch together on the forum at the same time and instead of talking to each other we're posting on here

Nah, the photos are deceiving. He's itty bitty as far as girth. He's still on pinkies

Re: My new Cali King snake!

I asked this on another thread but it's worth repeating to see if more people see it here:

I was wondering about the water bowl placement... We debated it a bit. When we placed the shelf to give him the second floor we put the water bowl up there and he was already exploring and I'm sure he's located it there. Plus it's easier for my cousin to reach onto that top "floor" to change the water out more readily. Any real reason we should put it on the lower floor of the enclosure? Would like to get some opinions... Thanks peeps

Re: My new Cali King snake!

IMO I don't think it matters as long as the snake goes onto the shelf it will get water when it needs it.
