Re: What should I get?!
I wish I had that sort of money going into a reptile expo!! Do you want to spend it all on one awesome bp morph? Or spread it out and get more than one animal?

I wish I had that in my pocket right now.... I would be at home depot getting a truckload of supplies for Chomp's room.

Re: What should I get?!
If you want to make a significant investment, invest in a pair of het snow reticulated pythons.
You can get them for about 600$ each, and if you are lucky, you will get snows by breeding them (snows sell for 20k each right now) (Het snow means, het albino and het anery)

Re: What should I get?!
If you are investing that kind of money buy what you love. I don't think anyone is going to have the same idea for you. Go see what you can get and what you like. How many animals do you want to come home with? What other things do you need to keep all your snakes/critters happy? Think common sense not just tossing your money around.

Could not have said it better..
In the end, they are your pets, no one elses.
Not too many people are "impressed" by garter snakes,
but I get new ones all the time, because that's what I like.

Dums make great pets and not a whole lot of people have them. They are just as docile as red tails and they have a great pattern on them.

albinos sell around $450 for males and up to $650 for females... (although I got lucky and got mine for way less than that).
pieds usually sell anywhere between $800-$2,000 depending on the % white.

At the shows here, I can get visual pieds for $800+ (males) and $1100+ (females), they are all high whites.
