You can make one yourself for like 50 cents each.

Re: heat bulb guards....
You build them out of wire mesh (the round kind, not the kind they can hurt themselves on) and give it a frame so it holds its shape against whatever abuse they put out.

Can you include a pic? I have been wondering the smae thing and have a lot of ideas, but haven't seen anything that is adequate.

I FOUND ONE I FOUND ONE!!

These galvanized steel covers will prevent children and pets from touching heat lamps and will help prevent fire in the event that a clamp lamp is knocked onto the ground.
Available in 3 sizes.

And by looking at it, it can easily be retrofitted with screening so nothing (precious babies) can touch the bulb.

Re: heat bulb guards....
Take a look at this:
snakeboi1994's Channel - YouTube
I like this idea A LOT! It encloses the entire fixture (the ceramic top can still burn the snake). It won't work for lamps, but if you wire your own fixtures, this is by far the best bulb guard I have seen. Made from French Fry baskets for deep fryers.
