Re: first enclosure build! FINISHED!
Looks good! (I'm guessing you are going to add a hide out and a taller basking spot )
As for the doors you can order sliding tracks on ebay fairly cheep most times and that should make it fairly simple for you to change out.

Re: first enclosure build! FINISHED!
I would try and eliminate the gap between the side and the door, it allows heat, and potentially food, to escape.
at least it looks like a gap in the last picture.

The gap is about 3 cm ... i will be putting sliding glass doors in within the next week or so, so far, no crickets have escaped. Lol.

Re: first enclosure build! FINISHED!
The electrical wiring looks a little... well (no insult intended) um dangerous.
There are other light sockets that conceal the live wires.

My dad is putting the finishing touches on my custom build. I can't wait we've been working on it for like a month.

Re: first enclosure build! FINISHED!
so, 3 days after i finished this cage, i started my 2nd cage, for my BRB. the begining pics are the same lol and now here are some different looking pics...
If you see, i put a florescent light in there since im using flexwatt. it does not get hot enough to hurt her at all...
and the most obvious thing is the little square made out of lil strips of wood, this is where my flexwatt going to sit in, then i will put plexi over it. i glued it down with gorillia glue, and also took clear silicone and smeared around the exposed sides of the melamine.
letting it dry and then got holes for the flexwatt drilled (cords) and i hope this works out, i wanted to try something different... thanks for looking...
***MOD, CAN YOU CHANGE TITLE TO " MY ENCLOSURE BUILD PROGRESS THREAD'' or something like that, thankss!!!!***
