Never hurts to ask for help.
Today Askim missed the rat and struck the enclosure wall, he warped his face pretty bad and we were close to taking him to the vet...
I decided to post the photos of his injury on a retic chatroom on facebook to get a quick secondary opinion and one of our members (Kimberly) noticed fine little teeth poking through his upper lip..
Long story short, I saved myself a 200$+ vet bill + over an hours travel time, his face looks amazing now compared to before, just minor swelling. (I pulled his lip down and out to remove it from the retics long teeth.
Thanks Kim
(I owe you some chocolates)

Re: Never hurts to ask for help.
The bite itself was swelling allot (as you can see in the first photo) prior to pulling down the jaw that he was cross eyed and one of his eyes was swelling out of his head a little.
Hes doing great now.

So glad to hear he's doing well... and glad you saved yourself the money and the trip to the vet. I hope he recovers quickly and with as little pain as possible!

So you had to restrain him by the neck to get the teeth out? Does he hate you now? Did he end up eating?

Oddly enough, hes normally a hellhound... When he was injured I expected him to be satan but he never once atempted to strike, and didn't even hiss.

That would be sooo sick. Where do you think you're gonna move? I've never seen a retic before, only burms and an anaconda.
