Re: Big Water Snake..
I stumbled upon a huge one a few weeks ago. Hung out for like 3 hours trying to catch em to take pics but when a snake wants to hide there's nothing you can do about it :P He was probably 5.5 feet if not 6 feet.

Re: Big Water Snake..
After, I made the sacrifice and got into the water while following the snake all the while taking pics or filming.

Nope, harmless. Not the ones up here anyways. Water moccasins however, better known as cottonmouths are venomous.

Re: Big Water Snake..
I've caught many, and they were all even more mellow than my BP. My BP's pretty mellow, but he tends to hiss at me, although he doesn't often curl up into a ball.

Wayne your collection is interesting.
Out of curiosity, what is the largest snake you keep? It's fine if you want to keep your collection a mystery to me though

I have a rescue BP, he's the largest in girth, I keep a black Racer he's tied for longest with the big Pueblan.
