Good place in canada for thermostats
So i'm looking into get ultratherm mats for the boa and Ball, meaning I would need to separate thermostats and unforunatly I can't really shell out 70 a piece plus shipping. So what i'm wondering is there any place that sells ones that will do the job, for cheap with fairly priced shipping?
If this has been asked i'm sorry I did search and found nothing stickied either =(

Re: Good place in canada for thermostats
as for therostats, i would hold off and get a nice herpstat, you can do multilpe cages with them. you can build yourself a reostat for a few $s while you save up. How to make your own Rheostat for less than $7! Detailed instructions. - CornSnakes.com Forums i made a couple now and they work great, but clearly not near as good as a herpstat.

Re: Good place in canada for thermostats
There are some sites that offer the thermostat unwired. Those are about $50, but you have to do all the wiring yourself. (if your interested I'll find the site for you.
other than that, you can wire a lamp dimmer ($5-$10 from walmart or home depot) and manually control the temps. This is what I am doing (except I was stupid and shelled out for the rio-stat) until I get the rack system all set up!! (well I should say until HUBBY gets the rack system set up!)

Re: Good place in canada for thermostats
Hey guys, I think I already know what I am getting, i'm not picking up flexwatt anymore and i'm going with Ultratherm heat mats and i've been really dumb thinking I would need more then one thermostat I actually only need one and have one picked out, which I will use for now and save up for the herpstat. Thanks though really appreciate the replies

Re: Good place in canada for thermostats
The one i'm looking at is only 30, not sure what the difference would be between the two since I just asked a few people about the one I was looking at and they said it was fine.
