webbing that my socotra island blue baboon done

this is what my socotra island blue baboon juvenile tarantula done over night, that burrow is 6 inches in diameter and about 10 inches deep, quite simply a marvelous piece of work from a spider thats only has a leg span of 2 inches

what do you all think about that then, oh theres also another 20ft worth of line webbing throughout the tank its in on top of that piece of work

Neat webbing....tarantulas sure can make a mess. My little pinktoe used to web up her whole cage. It was a total pain in the butt to clean.

well, best thing to do with webbing is use an old model paint brush and spin it as you touch the webbing, that will gently pull the webbing to the brush without much work.

personally, i love the webs that they make, i find it fascinating how they d it and how strong it is: if you get enough spiders to make a 1 inch thick rope, that rope will be strong enough to stop a boeing 747 dead in mid flight, and i absolutely love the way light glistens off the webbing when you spray them with a very fine mister.

They are really cool- I loved my pinktoes webbing too. She had a bad molt, when I was away for a weekend, and my fiance didn't notice and I lost her. I miss her a lot- she was a neat little spider and made the prettiest webs.
