Re: The Feeding Thread

Whats the cage in the blackground of the sav pics? I love it when a monitor is healthy enough to stand up and reach for stuff

I had some extra bamboo window blinds (i got a bunch on clearance once for $2). I rolled them out and turned them sideways and wrapped them around the back and sides of the outside of his tank. thought it would make him feel a little more secure in his enclosure rather than leaving it open. is that what you are asking about?

Chomper is 5 years old, and he stands up for food... and man can he run.

That's awesome, too often you see over weight monitors who have lived a life of only mice and rats and in turn are fat and miserable. I keep up with your Chomper posts, such a good looking guy. I can't wait until mine gets to his size (although he is growing fast as it is)

Re: The Feeding Thread

putting a pinkie on a tray seems like a good idea, I'm gonna have to try that, first time feeding my new BRB tonight. I was gonna do it yesterday but when I had time he was curled up in his hide with the "let me sleep" look, so I didn't disturb him.
