what to feed a dekay's snake

Hi everyone,
So I've keeping a dekay's snake that I caught in my backyard in Canada early in the summer. So far, I've been feeding it earthworms and slugs from my garden, but with winter and school coming soon, it's getting harder and harder to find food. Is there anything else I can feed it? Maybe from pet shops, or from home? Like ground chicken or fish?
Thanks,
Alex

I have successfully kept them over the winter with common fishing bait worms.
