Big toad

Dug up my drive way a few months back to fix a retaining wall and while i was moving the dirt back i found this toad.

Made a little video of it eating too.

Re: Big toad

Cute! I used to keep toads for short periods of time when I was younger and living in a more humid state. Best parts of my Spring/Summer. I would let them go after a week but it was always fun to feed them beetles and stuff from outdoors. They eat like little piggies! And I love the sound they make when they get into a singing chorus.

Re: Big toad

Stephan, you need a giant red-spotted toad. They are adorable and awesome- I have one named Ketchup and he's great.

Re: Big toad

See I would love to have a cane toad but unsure of where to find them...wild or otherwise.

Re: Big toad

Ask an Australian, I'm sure lots of them would load a cartload into a cannon and send you a few.

ROTFL No doubt there Stephan! Those things are a plague there. If I lived there I probably wouldn't love them like I do.

Re: Big toad

I found a huge toad at night while my family and I were on vacation in southern France. It was gigantic.
