To Feed, or Not to Feed?
So, That is my question. My baby ball seems to be hunting after about 4 days after feeding. I feed every Sunday. One hopper is what he / she gets. It was stalking ruby, the beta fish (mini aquarium in front of his tank.) I know there is a lot of opinion on this, so what do you guys do? Is this a case of plop him on the scale, then go from there?

Follow a feeding schedule, normally thats 4-5 days for babies, 7-10 days for yearlings and 14 days for adults.

Based on your advice, it would make since that she could be wanting more then. I will keep an eye out, then if I see her on the prowl at ht e 5 day mark, I will give it a shot. Thanks for the responses, anyone else have any input?

Re: To Feed, or Not to Feed?
hatchlings and young carpets i feed every 7 days
sub adults every 7 to 14 days
adults every 14 to 28 days depending on which season i am trying to replicate
in winter i only give my adult carpets only 3 or 4 feeds
i preffer to feed large meals less frequently than small meals more often.(carpets can take prey 2,3,4 times the size of their girth)
cheers shaun
