Hey people!
Hi im Josh, I live in the UK, atm I only own a corn snake, but been working extra lately to rake in enough cash to buy a boa constrictor and viv etc.
After the boa I will be planning on getting a FWC, just thought I'd let you know my interests , now wondering how to convince the parents :P

Re: Hey people!
Welcome to the forums.
Ask them to get a Tiger, then work your way down to a Caiman, then just say I want a small snake and they will love the idea. (didn't work for me)

Re: Hey people!
high and welcome, i currently have 2 boas and they are awesome snakes, so gd choice, there fairly placid and easy to maintain as for your parents, just tell them the truth, they let you have a corn so they shouldnt mind, but just incase, show them a few pics of boas from on here and im sure they will come round, if nt show them a pic of a retic or burm and then say that all u want is a boa lol

Re: Hey people!
hey thanks for the great response, about the boa.. was looking at a common boa as the worker at the reptile shop told my mum that red tails grow to 16ft so she won't let me get that. So at the moment I am looking at a male common boa anyway wish me luck

Re: Hey people!
Red tails DO NOT get 16 ft.... I think you should maybe talk to a breeder or look in a different shop.. Good luck.

A 16 foot RTB sounds like someone on something. That would be a world record for a RTB. The biggest i ever seen was a 12 foot female at a zoo and she was like 20 some years old.

It would be possible is you had sewn one RTB onto another.
