New snake fan!

Just got my first snake today, a motley boa! Absolutely love it! It is only about 20 inches right now, and was told he would likely top out around 6 feet.

Would love to get a larger one someday!

Hello and Welcome! As far as size it can get quite a bit bigger. Not sure if Motely Boa stay on the small size or not. Most RTB get between 6 to ten feet.

Ah forgot to say it was a dwarf. From what I understand they can still get quite large, they just don't grow as fast or as thick and are 1/2 to 3/4 normal length (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Also, he is not "pure" motley, the last 4 inches of his tail looks normal, got him for a helluva price from the local breeder, but he still looks amazing!

Once I get a bigger living space (1-2 yrs from now) I plan on getting a baby albino boa (non dwarf), and hopefully one day a Burmese, absolutely love big snakes

Will get pics of him very soon!
